Many are attracted by the low prices of treatment, which are several times lower than in Israel, Germany, or the United States. Foreigners can count on free emergency medical care, which is provided in state clinics. Further treatment must be paid for. There are private medical establishments on the territory of the country where it is possible to treat not only common diseases but also perform complicated surgeries.

As a rule, foreigners come to Russia for treatment which is not covered by insurance in their homeland. And also when there are long waiting lists for certain types of free treatment.
